The game adds new mechanics, updated visual presentation, and a remixed soundtrack featuring songs from eight titles: BEAT, CORE, VOID, FATE, FLUX, RUNNER, Runner2, and Runner3. Players can also use RUNNER MAKER to build custom stages by arranging obstacles and shaping gameplay around the beat, then share those creations with the community. A Historical Gallery contains artifacts and references connected to the original game. The campaign’s stages become progressively more challenging, while the level editor provides a separate creation-focused activity.
