Our take on Shudder
The bounce point arrives when players expect a shooting control to handle threats. Shudder assigns Space to its special drive and makes movement, cell collection, and positioning the core of survival, so conventional twin-stick shooter habits stop applying immediately.
What is Shudder?
Shudder is a fast twin-stick shooter built around movement and absorption rather than conventional firing.
Players navigate an interdimensional wormhole, collect cosmic cells, and fill the SHUDDER Drive 9000 to unleash its attack against waves of interstellar Para-Bugs. Vortex-Cubes can be destroyed while enemies are cleared to build high scores and gather rare resources. Resources can be converted into currency used to purchase new ships and upgrades. The game combines elements associated with Geometry Wars, Pac-Man, and Snake. Supported controls include Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 gamepads, plus keyboard controls using WASD or the arrow keys, Space for the drive, and P to pause.
