Players seeking a full-length game may bounce off when the experience centers on one focused conflict between Shennong and the beast. Those expecting progression systems or varied combat encounters will reach that limit during the story's central confrontation.
What is Shennong: Taste of Illusion?
This VR animation presents an adventure story about Shennong, a hero from prehistoric China.
While exploring a forest in a valley, he gathers unfamiliar plants and tastes a flower with unusual effects. The flower poisons him and becomes a mythical beast in his illusion. After the creature attacks him, a secret friend revives Shennong and awakens a superpower. He then defeats the beast, ends the illusion, and obtains another valuable plant.
