ActionIs Infinite Tao worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy ancient Chinese immortal-cultivation settings and timed survival runs
- Fans of automatic attacks who want movement and build decisions instead of manual attacks
- Players who like weighing Spirit Stone savings against realm advances, grid unlocks, and treasure searches
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking direct control over every attack will hit a wall when combat becomes automatic.
- Players wanting a longer campaign may find the fixed 30-minute run structure too narrow.
- Players who do not enjoy repeated build experimentation may lose interest in combining treasures and Synergies.
Our take on Infinite Tao
The bounce point arrives when combat starts: attacks are automatic, so players expecting to aim or trigger each strike must rely on movement, treasure choices, and Synergy planning instead. Another wall appears at the 30-minute run boundary for anyone seeking an extended campaign structure.
What is Infinite Tao?
Infinite Tao is a roguelite survival game set in an ancient Chinese immortal-cultivation world.
A run lasts 30 minutes while monsters surround the player. Attacks happen automatically, and movement uses the WASD keys. Progress comes from selecting and combining Magic Treasures, with over 70 treasures and 20 Synergies available for different builds. Three-in-one Magic Treasures can be upgraded. Spirit Stones create another set of choices: saving them to gain interest, spending them to advance realms and unlock grids, or using them to search for high-level Magic Treasures. Props can be used to surround monsters and delay them while seeking a suitable combination.
