What is Shadowrain?
Shadowrain is a side-scrolling science-fiction survival horror game set in a dystopian Neo-Tokyo.
The player wakes in a small apartment with no memories and encounters Yui, an artificial intelligence acting as a companion. The city outside is silent, while an unnatural presence follows and draws closer. Combat is not an option; survival relies on hiding and, at times, running. Progress requires monitoring health, energy, and sanity while moving through eerie pathways. The game uses minimal pixel graphics, psychological horror, and story-focused progression. It includes multiple endings, two difficulty settings, and Steam Achievements.
