Our take on Second Thoughts
The central tension comes from deciding with limited information, but later disclosures also concern subjects who have already been executed. Those details can be read or ignored, so the experience does not make every revelation part of a decision about someone still alive.
What is Second Thoughts?
Second Thoughts is a text-based psychological game about deciding which of eight subjects to execute.
Each day, players choose one person using the information available. After each execution, new details are revealed about every subject, including those already killed. Players can read these updates or set them aside and focus on the remaining subjects. The experiment lasts seven days, with one subject surviving and being allowed to leave. An observation room shows how many subjects remain and their states. Execution choices are permanent and cannot be reversed. Each subject has a hidden story that is revealed as more information becomes available.
