Our take on Scam Line
Instead of placing participants together for face-to-face deduction, Scam Line separates them into rooms and routes communication through an old mobile phone. Conversation, selective disclosure, and deception replace direct observation as the main tools of play.
What is Scam Line?
Scam Line is a social deception party game for 4–8 players.
Participants occupy separate rooms and communicate through an old mobile phone, restricting what they can see and share. Early Access contains 22 social challenges, including learning room numbers, identifying a differently dressed player, and playing the Prisoner’s Dilemma. Players may form alliances, exchange information, make deals, bluff, lie, or manipulate others. Each challenge tests observation, communication, and responses to other players’ behavior. Decisions carry consequences, and every game ends with one winner. The game uses voice communication, simple visuals, environmental surprises, and changing player behavior as part of its multiplayer structure.
