Our take on Savior of the Abyss
The escape-and-mystery framing gives less prominence to the game's sudden-death situations, bloodshed, and fixed save points. Progress depends on careful investigation and item use, so the premise does not represent a simple route to the surface.
What is Savior of the Abyss?
This RPG Maker-style horror game follows Stella after she awakens beneath an abandoned hospital.
She searches an underground complex for a way outside, examining rooms, gathering clues, solving puzzles, and finding equipment needed to continue. The surroundings contain hidden dangers, including lethal incidents and other perilous challenges, so careful observation is essential. As exploration continues, Stella uncovers information about the facility and the circumstances that brought her there. Saving is available only at designated locations. The game contains violence and blood, includes three possible endings, and supports changing the display language. On Windows, the initial language is selected automatically from the operating system settings, while a manual language option is also available.
