Our take on Night Raider
The store page emphasizes the weapon count and numerous completed systems, while the central play cycle remains repeated supply runs under ammunition, inventory, darkness, and death-loss pressure. The update-plan section also makes the game's current scope harder to assess at a glance.
What is Night Raider?
Night Raider is an exploration shooter built around dangerous scavenging trips into a zombie-occupied city.
Players enter buildings to collect supplies, manage ammunition, and choose when to escape. Combat includes silenced firearms, close-range weapons, and heavier guns for larger zombie groups, while hostile survivors can also threaten collected goods. If the character dies, carried equipment and supplies are lost, though scavengers may recover some lost objects.
An irregular item-size backpack system requires decisions about what to keep or discard. At camp, players can interact with NPCs, manage storage, trade or purchase equipment, and access training. The game includes more than 60 weapons, nearly 200 weapon accessories, multiple city areas, different buildings, darkness, and completed systems such as pets, quests, cooking, talents, and difficulty selection.
