Our take on Runefall
The defining mechanic is directional movement through matching: each completed match shifts the camera that way, so puzzle decisions also determine travel across the environment.
What is Runefall?
Runefall combines match-3 puzzles with exploration across the kingdom of Silverdale.
Each match moves the camera in the direction of the cleared pieces, allowing travel through large environments. Clearing sand, grass, and dirt reveals keys, quest objects, and items for crossing obstacles such as rivers, cliffs, and vines. Shield pieces fill a jump meter, while a mini-map enables movement to different locations. Matching gold, wood, and stone gathers materials for improvements to Rivermoor, with each town upgrade granting bonuses such as power-ups and abilities. Townsfolk including Hadrick, Winifred, and Caius offer quests involving materials for the kingdom’s monthly tribute.

- 03Town Resource Upgrades
