Our take on Rune It Out
Typed spell commands define the combat: Rune Mages must enter spells quickly to make them chant at speed, while lapses in concentration can produce miscasts during arena battles.
What is Rune It Out?
Rune It Out is a player-versus-player arena game with support for matches against AI.
Players select from multiple characters and combine runes to create spells that alter the map and attack opposing Rune Mages. Spell casting depends on typing: faster input produces faster chanting, while poor concentration can cause miscasts. Defeating opponents grants rune mana, which can unlock additional spells in a progressing grimoire. Artefact Mode adds another competition in which Rune Mages counter incoming spells or strike opponents to collect mana and claim an Artefact. The game includes multiplayer and single-player options, an interactive map, character choices, spell combinations, and two spell-focused battle formats.
