Our take on Wizorb
The fantasy quest framing gives Wizorb the shape of an adventure game, but its main activity remains block breaking with an orb. Exploration, rebuilding, and story outcomes surround that arcade foundation rather than replacing it with broader role-playing systems.
What is Wizorb?
Wizorb combines block-breaking play with a fantasy adventure about Cyrus, a wizard defending the Kingdom of Gorudo from an evil presence.
Players use a magic wand to keep an orb moving and cast different spells while traveling through locations such as the abandoned town of Clover and Gorudo Castle. The game contains more than 60 levels across five worlds, with dangers throughout each area and boss encounters along the journey. Gold collected during play can purchase charms or contribute to rebuilding homes for the kingdom’s citizens. The story includes multiple endings, and character animation is credited to Paul Robertson.
