Our take on Rubicon: Cubindom
The cube-based design keeps the game focused on spatial planning, but that focus leaves less room for broader strategy systems such as unit management, progression, or direct combat.
What is Rubicon: Cubindom?
Rubicon: Cubindom is a turn-based puzzle strategy game built around rotating the faces of a Rubik’s Cube.
Players restore order in Cubindom across two level types. In one, confused knights and hostile creatures block routes to a tower, requiring careful face rotations to open paths for the warriors. In the other, damaged castle walls must be repaired by linking sections of the same color. The game presents its cube-based mechanics without requiring prior knowledge of solving a Rubik’s Cube. Its setting follows the disruption caused by Obfus, who has disturbed the peace of Cubindom and placed its inhabitants in danger.
