Our take on Roundguard
Its defining structure is a one-life dungeon run played through pinball-like bouncing, with each attempt reshuffling the castle and its encounters.
What is Roundguard?
Roundguard is a dungeon crawler built around pinball-style physics.
Players launch one of four classes—the Warrior, Rogue, Wizard, or Druid—through a randomized castle filled with monsters, hazards, quests, and elite enemies. Each class has distinct skills and items. Runs use permadeath, but collected gold can provide chances to carry special trinkets into later attempts. More than 200 items and trinkets create different effects, combinations, and strategic decisions, while rare and legendary equipment includes randomly selected bonuses. The game also includes castle characters, leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and escalating difficulty ranks for each hero.
