Our take on Rise of Keepers
Instead of keeping the player behind a defensive line, the game sends the Keeper into the map to gather materials, fight enemies, and find loot before building defenses. Character advancement is tied to the Crystal’s development, combining exploration with the tower-defense objective.
What is Rise of Keepers?
Rise of Keepers combines role-playing exploration with tower defense.
A Keeper travels across a large map, gathers timber, stone, and food, fights enemies, opens secret chests, and collects weapons and other items. These resources support defensive towers and shared structures such as teleport stations, hunting traps, and fishing equipment. Enemy waves enter through four portals at intervals, while the Crystal must be defended and upgraded. Each Keeper has four special skills, including an ultimate ability linked to that character’s tower. Crystal advancement raises Keeper levels and unlocks abilities. The Challenge Editor supports custom scenarios for community sharing. Cooperative multiplayer for up to 5 players is identified as an upcoming feature and is not yet available.
