Players can also cultivate heroes, with characters such as DJs, agents and pupils offering different abilities and operating styles. Beat cards can be collected and superimposed to create varied card builds. The story follows heroes opposing Commander Chaos, who uses dark Beat Energy to turn vegetables into evil minions. Players join the journey to save the planet while the true purpose of the mysterious Mr. Disco remains unknown.
