- Players looking for a finished, unchanging game may not suit its active-development status.
- Players without VR hardware are not a fit for this VR title.
Our take on RFVR
The bounce point arrives when combat moves beyond a single attack style. Players must engage with physics-based melee, ranged weapons, magic, or summoning, while those expecting a straightforward action system may find the interaction demands too much experimentation.
What is RFVR?
RFVR is a medieval fantasy VR RPG set on a remote island with a persistent world, wilderness, cave systems, ruins, and scattered settlements.
Exploration takes place without loading screens or instanced areas. Combat combines melee weapons, ranged attacks, magic, and summoned entities through physics-based interactions. Character development includes experience from combat and profession progression in cooking, farming, blacksmithing, hunting, and mining. Profession levels rise through related activities such as preparing food, extracting ore, crafting weapons, or planting crops. Players can support colonial expansion by constructing buildings, supplying townspeople, and improving guard equipment. Online cooperative play allows these activities to be undertaken with friends. The game remains in active development.
