Our take on rFactor
Rather than focusing only on standalone races, rFactor combines racing with a career mode, vehicle economy, and extensive community customization. Multiplayer driver swaps also extend its race structure to endurance events of up to 24 hours.
What is rFactor?
rFactor is a car racing simulation with mixed-class road racing, AI opponents and multiplayer races.
Race formats can use laps, elapsed time, or both, and a career mode includes vehicle upgrades that change appearance, performance, and sound. Vehicle economy tracks mileage, while ambient and track temperatures can change during a race. A full day-night cycle is supported, and multiplayer includes driver swaps for endurance events lasting up to 24 hours. Players can adjust AI types, strength, and aggression, edit grids, and set vehicle and circuit filters for multiple racing series. Community additions can include cars and tracks. The game also includes replay editing with clip splicing and movable cameras.
