Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear campaign may find the planet-based exploration and secret hunting too open-ended

Our take on Revenge of the Savage Planet
The game spreads its focus across exploration, scanning, creature capture, crafting, traversal, combat, and collection. That breadth leaves less room for a narrowly focused action experience built around one central mechanic.
What is Revenge of the Savage Planet?
This satirical science-fiction action adventure follows a worker abandoned at the edge of space after being discarded by a corporation.
Players explore four alien planets, scan plants, capture creatures, swim through lakes, climb mountains, investigate caves, and search for hidden secrets. Progress includes crafting upgrades, completing experiments, and raising a science level to unlock new gear. Movement and combat options include running, jumping, shooting, grinding, stomping, dodging, sliding, whipping, and grappling. Three types of gameplay goo add further options. Cooperative play supports sessions across platforms and local same-screen play. Collected rewards, including plants, creatures, gear, and rocks, can be displayed in a customizable Space Trailer.
