Our take on Respawn Man
The defining mechanic is the use of the character’s corpses: lethal hazards produce bodies that can contribute to reaching the end of a level.
What is Respawn Man?
Play as a red-shirted character who encounters spikes, drowning, poison, and other lethal hazards.
The corpses left by these deaths can be used to reach the end of each level, making repeated deaths part of the puzzle structure. The game includes a story mode with over 30 levels, bonus stages, and a Steam Workshop section containing levels that were not included in the main game. Players can also create levels for others to play. A retro soundtrack by SoulEye, the composer of VVVVVV, accompanies the game. The title screen includes a separate activity where accumulated corpses can be flung around.
