What is Red Matter?
Red Matter follows Agent Epsilon, an astronaut from the Atlantic Union, during an investigation of a deserted Volgravian science facility on Rhea, a satellite of Saturn.
Set amid a bleak Cold War future, this VR adventure combines exploration with environmental puzzles. Examine objects, scan clues, interpret written messages, and study traces left by the vanished staff. Challenges include restoring electrical systems, deciphering data, using unfamiliar equipment, and moving items with motion controllers. The route crosses Rhea’s hostile exterior, stark brutalist passageways, subterranean complexes, and concealed laboratories while the mystery takes increasingly strange turns. Players can navigate with continuous movement, teleportation, or dash-based travel.
