Our take on Red Bash
Enemy projectiles serve two purposes: they destroy obstacles and launch Reddy upward. This rule defines the platforming, making projectile redirection central to both route selection and movement.
What is Red Bash?
Red Bash is a challenging, retro-inspired 2D precision platformer in which Reddy, a red panda, gathers bamboo.
Enemy projectiles can be redirected to clear obstacles or launch Reddy higher. The game has more than 45 handcrafted stages in 3 worlds, with distinct settings and hazards, along with 3 especially difficult bonus stages. Difficulty rises as the stages progress. An optional speed technique lets Reddy retain forward momentum after a Bash when side-direction controls are released, until he stays against a wall or on the ground too long. Menus display records and death totals, and the game features 11 original music tracks. The main game is completable without using the advanced momentum technique.
