Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a quiet or purely exploratory adventure may find the hostile robots and combat focus too prominent

- Players looking for a multiplayer game are not the intended audience for this solo-focused adventure
Our take on ReCore: Definitive Edition
The companion-focused design gives the adventure variety through different robotic abilities, but it also makes the experience less centered on Joule alone. The added regions, dungeons, gear, and progression extend the scope while making the overall game structure less compact.
What is ReCore: Definitive Edition?
Play as Joule Adams, one of the last humans on Far Eden, a dangerous world controlled by hostile robots.
Build relationships with Corebot companions, each with distinct abilities, and lead them through the planet’s unexplored regions. The Definitive Edition adds the Eye of Obsidian adventure, featuring Violet, the Starving Sea, new enemies, 10 dungeons, and two overworld areas. Joule gains three additional rifle modes, while the T8 NK Corebot frame can cross quicksand and offers increased speed and power. The edition also includes additional Corebot gear, higher level caps, gameplay tuning, higher-resolution visuals with HDR skies and lighting, new Achievements, and reduced loading times.
