Is Record Life worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Life-simulation players who want to manage work and everyday expenses
- Players interested in games that combine career choices with physical condition and mood management
- Simulation fans who prefer everyday economic decisions over a fantasy setting
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad, finished life sandbox may find the current focus on the first year of one script limiting.
- Players looking for long-term variety may find the current scope narrow, since several careers, property ownership, and family features are described as future plans.
- Players seeking a focused business-management game may find the mix of personal needs, leisure, and random events too broad.
Our take on Record Life
The pitch spans careers, relationships, family, property, and a growing world, but current development focuses on the first year of the first script. Several of those wider-life systems remain stated plans rather than present gameplay.
What is Record Life?
Record Life is a business and life simulation game about starting with limited resources and managing everyday needs.
Players choose a script and career, earn and save money, and spend on necessities, food, equipment, and leisure. The game includes bills, bank savings and credit, physical strength, mood, cleanliness, aging, random weather, and unexpected events that can disrupt work plans. Shops, lottery tickets, stock speculation, and entertainment venues are also included in the description. The vendor says development is focused on the first year of the first script. Owning property or a business, online services, marriage, children, and additional events are presented as future plans.
