Our take on Raiders of Blackveil
The build system adds considerable variety through eight classes and more than 300 perks, but the focus on repeated raids sacrifices the fixed progression and continuous story structure found in a traditional action RPG.
What is Raiders of Blackveil?
Raiders of Blackveil is a top-down multiplayer roguelite action RPG for one to three players.
Each run sends Rebels into Blackveil’s factory to fight enemies, gather equipment and valuables, and return them safely. Builds change between raids through more than 300 perks spread across eight classes: Mage, Assassin, Priest, Guardian, Monk, Druid, Warrior, and Warlock. Duo Perks create class combinations, while higher difficulty levels offer better loot. At the Liberator home base, players can sell, buy, upgrade, use, or store collected items. The game includes MOBA-inspired Rebels with distinct abilities, playstyles, and personalities, along with persistent equipment for later raids. It is available in Early Access, with the developer inviting feedback on balance, suggestions, and feature ideas.
