We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle players who enjoy experimenting with physics rather than following fixed instructions
- Players seeking a large set of drawing-based challenges with varied solutions
- Achievement hunters who want demanding completion targets
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a story-driven adventure or character progression may find the puzzle-focused structure narrow
- Players who prefer low-pressure puzzles may find the high-difficulty stages demanding
- Players seeking a broad strategy or simulation system may find the focus on individual physics challenges limited
Our take on Q REMASTERED
Rather than presenting puzzles with one intended sequence of moves, the game makes player-drawn objects part of the simulation. Gravity determines how each creation behaves, leaving the route to a solution open across more than 1200 missions.
What is Q REMASTERED?
Q REMASTERED is a physics puzzle game built around drawing lines and shapes with a mouse, keyboard, controller, or Steam Deck touch controls.
Each drawn object falls under gravity, and the resulting movement is used to complete more than 1200 missions. Tasks include getting a ball out of a cup and hitting a ball against a wall, with solutions left to the player. The Steam edition adds an IQ TEST mode with dedicated stages, an IQ number, and a graph analyzing performance. The game also includes numerous high-difficulty achievements. Its central challenge comes from finding different physical arrangements rather than following a fixed sequence of moves.
How Q REMASTERED plays
- 01Gravity-based drawing
- Player-created lines and shapes fall, creating the physical interactions needed to solve each stage.
- 021200-plus missions
- The campaign includes more than 1200 puzzles with objectives such as freeing a ball from a cup.
- 03IQ TEST mode
- Dedicated stages produce an IQ number and a graph representing the resulting analysis.
- 04Multiple control methods
- The game accepts mouse and keyboard input, controllers, and Steam Deck touch controls.
- 05High-difficulty achievements
- Additional achievements provide targets beyond completing the puzzle missions.
