What is Purgatory Fell?
Set in December 1955, this VR adventure follows a man whose daughter has disappeared and whose recurring nightmares draw him into introspective, fear-driven situations.
The dreams offer clues about his identity and what he may become as he descends further into madness. This release is a Prelude, the opening chapter of a planned episodic story about the disappearance and the protagonist’s soul; its place in future chapters’ canon is uncertain. Movement uses standing-room, trigger-based locomotion with player-controlled changes in inertia. The game also includes object grabbing and throwing, climbing, falling, hand-driven fluid physics, and volumetric lighting and fog. A VR-ready system is required.
