Our take on Pavilion
Its defining mechanic is fourth-person guidance: environmental changes direct an unknown character while the player remains outside the protagonist’s immediate viewpoint.
What is Pavilion?
Pavilion is a puzzle adventure built around indirect guidance rather than direct character control.
Players alter lights, sounds, and physical objects to direct an unknown protagonist through a surreal, dream-like setting. The game begins without text tutorials or an explanation, leaving the environment and narrative to establish the context. It contains 28 atmospheric levels across two chapters. Chapter 1 is available, while Chapter 2 is planned as downloadable content for 2018. Hand-crafted 2D artwork accompanies music by Tony Gerber. Support for the Tobii EyeX eye tracker adds gaze-based movement, observation, and interaction. Extra materials include an art PDF, high-definition wallpapers, and a sample song from the soundtrack.

Pavilion compared to similar games
