Our take on PULSOR
Rather than placing the ship in a conventional scrolling battlefield, PULSOR has it circle a black hole while threats come from the center and map corners. The player also uses separate forward and rear weapons against different obstacles, making the ship's orientation part of combat.
What is PULSOR?
PULSOR is an arcade shoot-'em-up in which a ship circles a black hole while moving forward or backward.
The player rotates clockwise or counterclockwise, dodging debris released from the central void and asteroids arriving from the map's corners. A forward gun shoots black-hole debris, while a rear turret targets asteroids. Movement uses WASD or arrow keys, and Space fires the weapons. During play, the player can collect HP and Gold; Gold can be spent in a store. The game asks players to beat an earlier point or time high score as they face increasing numbers of obstacles.
