Our take on Pulse Shift
Rather than treating physics as a fixed platforming rule set, Pulse Shift makes gravity, time, visibility, and object behavior part of the puzzle toolkit. Its structure replaces conventional route learning with repeated experimentation, as players alter the level’s rules to reach each destination.
What is Pulse Shift?
Pulse Shift is a first-person 3D puzzle platformer centered on changing the rules of movement.
Players manipulate gravity and time while navigating abstract environments and finding routes to arrow-marked destinations. Progress involves jumping, collecting, avoiding hazards, recharging abilities, and repeating attempts to find a faster path. The game includes over 60 levels across 7 themed styles, with abilities such as projection, seeing invisible objects, and moving or rotating objects. Two switchable modes can accelerate the game world or mark hidden bonuses alongside level goals and holokeys. Chamber 5 is included with a new theme and 5 additional levels. The Steam edition also contains level-design concept materials.
