The game includes eight weapons and nine academics to unlock, with runs taking place in an office, a laboratory, or a conference talk. Each increase in productivity opens a choice of weapons, cards, or other items based on practices found at universities around the world. These practices may support scientific progress or work against it. The game supports mouse and keyboard controls as well as controllers.
