Our take on Project AURA
Instead of centering a strategy game on armies, empires, or battles, Project AURA narrows the scale to a survivor colony starting from zero development. Its structure combines resident training, habitat growth, technology, salvage, and the choice between trade and self-sufficiency.
What is Project AURA?
Project AURA is a simulation and strategy game about leading a colony of people who survived a climate disaster.
The colony begins with no development, requiring management, training, and specialization of citizens as they learn assigned tasks. Players create habitats for additional residents, develop technology, and improve infrastructure, production, and research. Construction expands the settlement through new buildings and platforms. The colony can focus on trade or pursue self-sufficiency. Exploration missions uncover remnants of 21st-century civilization, while recovered components can be reused to make distinctive items. The setting follows humans awakened from cryo-preservation in a future shaped by severe climate change and food shortages.
