Our take on Forebearers
The defining structure is rebuilding from a small group of refugees and salvaged supplies, then extending the settlement through towns, outposts, production chains, and supply routes.
What is Forebearers?
Forebearers is a city-building survival strategy game about rebuilding a settlement after a tribe is forced from its homeland.
The settlement begins with refugees and salvaged supplies. Players gather food, water, luxury goods, and other resources, then process raw materials through production chains. Expansion adds towns, outposts, and supply routes across three worlds with different weather, resources, and challenges. Villagers can be assigned to 22 jobs, while 50 building types support settlement growth. Disasters including storms, fires, and diseases threaten the population. Wild animals and bandits require defensive preparations. Exploration reveals resources and possible settlement areas, while trade and refined luxury products support the development of a lasting society.
