What is Prison City?
Prison City is a side-scrolling shooter set in a dystopian version of Detroit in 1997.
Former cop Hal Bruzer returns from retirement to confront the Techno-Terrorists who control the city. Fight through 8+ zones, including a factory, freeway, and nature preserve, using chakrams and grenades against enemies and bosses. Hot dogs restore health, while contacts can provide help in taking down bosses. Levels contain environmental hazards and hidden upgrades. Gameplay and difficulty can be customized, and Boss Rush mode challenges players to compete for the fastest time. The game also includes references to classic action movies and games, plus a soundtrack by Raddland Studios.
