- Players looking for cooperative multiplayer may prefer a game built around group play
Our take on PowersVR
Its open city trades away a tightly directed campaign structure. Progress centers on finding heroes, entering challenge activities, facing enemies, and collecting items rather than following one sustained story.
What is PowersVR?
PowersVR is a virtual reality sandbox set in Metropolis.
Players control a group of superheroes, each with a distinct ability and personality. Beams of light guide exploration toward new heroes or challenge areas, while enemies and hidden collectibles are spread across the city. Using the appropriate hero turns part of the map into an isolated activity where players compete for a high score. Collectibles unlock artwork in the Gallery. The game combines superhero power testing, city exploration, enemy encounters, score-based challenges, and collection. The vendor also describes additional heroes and challenges as planned additions.
