Our take on PowBall Renaissance
Rather than treating brick-breaking as a repeatable score chase, the game turns each run into a resource decision. Ammunition, balls, and lives become part of the challenge, while permadeath replaces the genre's usual retry-friendly structure.
What is PowBall Renaissance?
PowBall Renaissance is a run-based precision brick-breaker built around fixed levels, resource pressure, and permadeath.
Players break bricks to collect Alchemite, then spend it between stages on ammunition, extra balls, and lives while responding to changing prices. A failed run cannot be retried or resumed through checkpoints. The game includes more than 330 handcrafted levels, standard power-ups, portals, helper bots, and sub-games. It supports solo play and shared-screen local co-op for up to three players. Input options include touch-screen controls, mouse, keyboard, and game controllers. A built-in level editor is available, but it requires a mouse and keyboard.
