Our take on Post Mortem
Players may bounce when the investigation shifts from atmospheric Paris exploration to its original puzzles. Those expecting combat-driven thriller gameplay will also hit a wall, since the core structure centers on following clues, interpreting a supernatural premise, and choosing among story routes.
What is Post Mortem?
Return to Paris as Gus Macpherson, a former New York detective who has taken up painting but is drawn back into investigative work.
Hired by a woman whose sister and brother-in-law were beheaded, Gus follows a case involving blood-written conspiracies, ancient rituals, and mysterious artifacts. His clairvoyant sense shapes the investigation as he moves through dark Paris streets and detailed environments. The adventure presents 360-degree panoramic scenes, distinctive characters, original puzzles, and several story routes. Post Mortem is a prequel to Still Life and frames its investigation as a thriller in which appearances can be misleading.
