Our take on PositronX
The bounce point arrives when a player expects a stable level-by-level campaign. PositronX repeatedly changes the playthrough, then adds fast shooting, movement, time abilities, and multiple upgrade types.
What is PositronX?
PositronX is a futuristic rogue-lite first-person shooter set after Earth has become uninhabitable and humanity searches for another world.
Players control Turing, an autonomous AI assigned to lead the relocation effort, until an awakened danger derails the mission. Combat pits the player against machine swarms across procedurally created levels. Rapid gunplay is paired with agile traversal and powers that alter the flow of time. Each run changes the campaign’s layout and available resources, including multiple weapon types and dozens of imprint and implant choices. The story follows a desperate attempt to establish a human settlement on an unfamiliar planet, with Turing’s mission determining whether the species can survive.
