Our take on RUNOUT
The premise and world-saving objective receive prominent emphasis, but the core play structure is continuous running with obstacle-triggered direction changes. That movement rule, combined with shooting, time control, and puzzles, makes the game’s central challenge more specific than a general futuristic action adventure.
What is RUNOUT?
RunOut is a runner-platformer set in a futuristic world after a hacker attack on MFS servers kills many exoskeleton carriers.
The player character is pursued by police and criminals because the exoskeleton has abilities such as shooting, acceleration, and time control. Movement is continuous: colliding with an obstacle reverses the running direction. Progress requires jumping, firing, changing speed, slowing or freezing time, and solving logic puzzles to clear each level. The stated objective is to identify who caused the chaos and save the world. The game is presented as a midcore-to-hardcore experience combining platforming, shooting, time manipulation, and puzzle solving.
