Our take on Posable Heroes
Instead of controlling a character continuously through a level, play centers on composing timed poses and watching physics carry them out. That turns animation itself into the puzzle-solving tool, with players revising a sequence until it meets each challenge.
What is Posable Heroes?
Posable Heroes is a physics puzzle game where players create the character animations needed to complete each level.
Set a pose, play the animation, then pause at any point to add another pose or adjust the character’s limbs. Each pose acts as a timed keyframe, and a projection previews the character’s near-future movement. Levels call for animations of varying lengths, from short sequences early on to longer, more complex movies later. Players can control up to three characters at once, with the characters working together to solve challenges. The game also includes the level editor used to make it, allowing players to create and share levels and challenges.
How Posable Heroes plays
- 01Timed pose editing
- Pause an animation at any moment to add a pose that the character must reach at a chosen time.
- 02Movement preview
- A projection shows the character’s expected near-future motion while adjusting a pose.
- 03Multi-character control
- Up to three characters can work together to complete a level.
- 04Level editor
- The included editor lets players make levels and share challenges.
