Is Portal Dungeon: Goblin Escape worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-game players who want short dungeon runs rather than open-world exploration
- Friends looking for co-op where movement is limited by a shared tether
- Players who enjoy breaking objects and collecting currency to upgrade gear
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad, open-ended world may find the repeated portal-and-main-hall loop narrow in scope.
- Those who want death to end a run without repeating the dungeon may find the reset demanding.
- Players looking for solo-only play may not want the emphasis on a friend-linked co-op option.
Our take on Portal Dungeon: Goblin Escape
The central loop is clearly structured around 20 dungeons, keys, and returning to the main hall. The emphasis on breaking objects and collecting coins is paired with gear upgrades, while the co-op constraint and repeated clearing after death shape how those runs play.
What is Portal Dungeon: Goblin Escape?
Portal Dungeon: Goblin Escape is a medieval fantasy action game built around clearing 20 portal dungeons.
Enter a dungeon, find its key, defeat the monsters, then return to the main hall and move on to another portal. Items in the levels can be destroyed, and collected coins can be spent on weapons, armor, and other things. The game includes bosses, traps, secret rooms, treasures, tasks, and daily challenges, as well as a bestiary. A friend can join in co-op, but both players are linked by collars that limit how far apart they can move. If a player dies in a dungeon, the dungeon must be cleared again.
