Our take on PolyCore Defense
Instead of relying only on fixed defensive setups, the game combines turret placement with modules, perks, abilities, and a no-damage Ace objective. Its progression system and changing path layouts add decisions beyond simply surviving each wave.
What is PolyCore Defense?
PolyCore Defense is a tower defense game focused on choosing turrets, placing them at useful locations, and protecting a central core from enemy waves.
Turrets can be upgraded with modules that add different effects, while abilities provide temporary defensive options during difficult moments. Destroyed enemies grant experience used to unlock turrets, modules, perks, and abilities. Completing maps opens the next stages, which introduce shorter and more numerous paths. Players can attempt to finish maps without the core losing health to earn an Ace challenge. The game also includes an endless mode, varied enemies with different effects, gameplay statistics, Steam Achievements, and a Steam Leaderboard.
