What is Pole of Cold?
Play as an employee at an Antarctic research station after the worker handling ancient ice samples becomes infected by an unknown organism.
Explore the station and seek a way to escape death while severe frost and deadly monsters stand between the player and salvation. Survival depends on running rather than fighting or hiding. Remember room locations to avoid dead ends, and lock doors while escaping to slow the enemy. The hostile creatures are not alone and act together. Death restarts the game, giving each attempt a single chance to survive. The story centers on ice samples more than 4 million years old and spores from an ancient single-celled organism that had not previously been discovered by science.
