Our take on Planetaries
Combining open-world exploration, base construction, resource gathering, contracts, and tower defense gives the game a broad activity range. The trade-off is a less focused structure, with progression spread across several systems instead of centered on one primary gameplay loop.
What is Planetaries?
Planetaries is a sci-fi open-world survival game on a distant planet.
Players gather resources, mine, trade, explore, fight alien life, and complete contracts for rewards. Data collection, raids, loot, levels, and tech points support access to technologies and crafting blueprints. Bases can serve as fortified shelters, industrial sites for farming and trade, or temporary camps, with facilities such as energy generators, vehicle pads, and particle accelerators. A Tech Data Beacon attracts hostile waves for tower-defense encounters, while other activities include hunting aliens, attacking outposts, exploring caves, and recovering resources. Single-player and multiplayer modes support building, crafting, combat, and exploration with friends or other players.
