Our take on Planet Lander
Fuel management defines the experience: later cave sections require collecting floating barrels while maintaining controlled thrust, because either a crash or an empty fuel supply ends the run.
What is Planet Lander?
Planet Lander is a spacecraft piloting game set across lunar caves on different planets.
Each level requires reaching a landing platform while rotating and applying thrust through open areas and increasingly narrow passages. Laser turrets, cave walls, and drifting space debris create hazards, while fuel barrels provide resources for longer stages. Running out of fuel or crashing ends the attempt. The game includes online leaderboards for comparing completion times, cloud saves, and 21 achievements, with one achievement tied to completing each level. Later levels introduce longer routes and more complex obstacles, requiring careful fuel collection and controlled movement.
How Planet Lander plays
- 01Thrust-based piloting
- Rotate the spacecraft and control its thrust to pass through confined cave routes.
- 02Fuel barrel collection
- Gather floating barrels to maintain fuel during the longer and more demanding stages.
- 03Hazard-filled levels
- Levels place laser turrets, cave walls, and moving debris along routes to the landing platform.
- 04Online time rankings
- Global leaderboards record the fastest level completion times.
- 05Cloud progress saves
- Game progress is stored through cloud saves.
- 0621 achievements
- Completing each level unlocks an achievement, for 21 achievements in total.
