Our take on Arcade Moonlander
The central constraint is landing the craft gently and vertically while managing fuel and avoiding hazards.
What is Arcade Moonlander?
Arcade Moonlander is a retro-styled space game centered on precise spacecraft control.
Arcade Mode has 30 levels, with fuel limits, landing requirements, and hazards such as satellites and space-worms. Progress saves after level completion, and the game records times for each level and an overall time for completing 20 levels. Adventure Mode uses a larger map with teleport pads, checkpoints, branching paths, gravity wells, falling stalactites, and fuel tanks. Procedural Mode offers Quest, Time Trial, and Practice, with fixed seeds for replaying generated levels or random seeds for exploration. Players can use a radar, mini-map, and in-game tutorial, and play with a controller or keyboard and mouse. The game also includes Steam Achievements, leaderboards, and a retro science-fiction soundtrack.
