Our take on Pitfall Planet
The defining detail is the grappling-hook mechanic, which lets players pick up and throw both objects and one another across gaps or cliffs.
What is Pitfall Planet?
Pitfall Planet is a two-player cooperative puzzle-solving adventure set on a distant, forgotten mining world.
Two stranded astrobots must travel through subterranean caves after becoming separated from their ship. Players use grappling hooks to pick up objects, including each other, and throw them across gaps or cliffs. Levels include buttons, crates, lanterns, bouncy pads, rockets, tanks, dangerous enemies, and other obstacles. Players must collect all the ore in each level while working together. A mysterious overworld contains caverns and secrets to discover. Hidden gems in the levels can unlock hats. The game supports controllers, keyboard play, and two players sharing one controller.
