Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who dislike restarting after a resource bar becomes full or empty may hit a wall when a decision pushes any bar to its limit.
- Players seeking a single battle system may find the shift between turn-based naval commands and boarding combat a poor fit.
- Players looking for a linear story may not want choices that determine which of two endings unfolds.
Our take on Pirates? Pirates!
The likely bounce point is resource management: any bar reaching full or empty ends the run and forces a restart. Players who find that threshold system frustrating may hit the wall after a decision changes Crew, Ship, Treasury, or Fame.
What is Pirates? Pirates!?
Pirates?
Pirates! is a pirate survival RPG in which choices shape a branching story with two possible endings. Drag cards left or right to make decisions that change Crew, Ship, Treasury, and Fame. If any resource bar fills or empties, the captain dies and the game restarts. The journey includes more than 2,000 cards and over 60 characters, along with events, items, and islands. Explore islands for buried treasure by following map directions through hazards and traps. Naval fights use turn-based commands to move and fire, while boarding enemy ships leads to close combat with guns and blades. Completing tasks unlocks events and items.
