What is PAWARUMI?
Pilot Axo's spacecraft, Chukaru, through a retro-futurist world inspired by pre-Columbian themes.
The shoot'em up uses three weapons and a super attack, with each weapon producing a different effect against the right enemy type: extra damage, shield recovery, or super-attack charge. An automatic shield can destroy nearby bullets when a hit is imminent, but it drains quickly. The game includes five levels, three difficulty settings with different story endings, full 3D presentation, and remappable keyboard and controller inputs. A weapon-mastery scoring system rewards switching weapons to build a personal scoring strategy. A layered Peruvian electro-metal soundtrack accompanies the campaign, while leaderboards provide a target for score-focused play.
