Our take on PathBlasters
The bounce point arrives when the chase and puzzle systems overlap: players must arrange crates and dynamites while the monster advances. The later side challenges may also stop newcomers who have only adapted to the gradual early difficulty.
What is PathBlasters?
PathBlasters combines chase sequences, crate-pushing puzzles, dynamite placement, and chain reactions in a colorful arcade setting.
Players guide Faren, Jenna, or Tobi through 60 levels across five environments, including valleys, swamps, forests, snowy mountains, and a volcano. The guardian monster pursues the characters, ending a run if it catches them. Adventure mode covers eight worlds, while Time Attack adds exclusive levels with three medals to collect in under a minute. Score Attack challenges developer scores, and Infinite mode raises the difficulty continuously. Versus mode supports local and online head-to-head races, where players solve puzzles, use powers to obstruct opponents, and compete for the lead.
